1 Enter a unique Name for the panel loop using
up to 30 characters. This is a required field.
2 If desired, enter a Description to further iden-
tify the panel loop. This field is optional, and
holds up to60 characters.
3 ACK/NAK provides a means of ensuring that
data is not being lost over electrical noisy com-
municationlines. ACK/NAK should be enabled
for normal operations.
4 Select either (or both) buffer check boxes
[Buffer all panels on exit and Unbuffer all
panels on startup] to apply buffering instruc-
tions.
Select Buffer on Exit to automatically buffer all
panels when the communication server is exited.
Select Unbuffer on Startup to automatically
unbuffer all panels when the communication
server is started.
